Test Equipment, Spark Plug/Ignition Module

Simply disconnect the spark plug from the cylinder and ground the clip to the cylinder fins, see illustration below.

Adjust the knob to 6mm gap between the two electrodes, read 6 marks on the corresponding scale.

Then pull firmly on the starter handle.

A clear spark will be visible between the electrodes if the ignition works properly.

Please note that the stop switch must be in the “ON” position and that a firm pull is required.
