EU Shipping After Brexit – How We Support Our European Customers
After Brexit, many UK businesses stopped shipping to EU countries due to increased customs paperwork and new legislation surrounding EU duty payments.
However, we chose a different path. To continue supporting our valued EU customers, we registered for the EU IOSS (Import One‑Stop Shop) scheme.
What Is the IOSS Scheme?
The IOSS scheme allows registered businesses to charge EU VAT/duties at the point of purchase, instead of the customer having to pay them later along with additional carrier administration fees.
This system:
- Makes delivery faster and easier
- Prevents delays caused by unpaid customs fees
- Reduces costs for customers by removing carrier admin charges
IOSS Shipping Explained
Orders Under £130 (Approx. €150)
For EU orders under €150 shipped to individual customers, we collect and charge the applicable EU duty during checkout.
This means:
- No import duty to pay on delivery
- No carrier admin fees
- No delays at customs
Your order arrives smoothly with no extra charges.
Orders Over £130 (Approx. €150)
For EU orders above €150, EU rules prevent duty from being charged at checkout.
For these orders:
- EU duty and any applicable import charges must be paid directly to the carrier before delivery.
We make this process as simple as possible and will always provide any documentation required.
